While Jeremy Enigk's 1996 masterpiece "Return of the Frog Queen" deserves it's own coverage, I've decided to detour and post a bit of a rarity today.
Enigk went to the studio he recorded ROTFQ with a full orchestra to replicate the songs' unique visions, while illuminating them further with the passion and spontaneity only live performance can bring. The sessions were broadcast to Seattle's The End radio station then were later pressed and shipped as promotional material by Sub Pop. It's pure lightning in a bottle and provides another look at a fine piece of work. Dig it.
