After 2 successfully killer 7 inches, Fuzz will release their self-titled debut October 1st on In the Red. Listen to Ty Segall, Charlie Moothart, and bassist Roland Cosio rip through the rock cosmos on "Loose Sutres".
Everyone's favorite band of mutants with more self-titled albums then Weezer has returned with the glory of a half-decade. Sometimes it's hard to pick a track so rock out to the album opener. Enjoy.
Sad news yesterday with the shocking passing of Jay Reatard. Never saw him live unfortunately but I always enjoyed most of his records, with the last one finally starting to grow on me. When he was on, he was fucking on and he will be soundtracking the best parties for years to come. Rock on.
I can't wait for the new King Khan & BBQ Show record. It's going to totally blow my mind, I just know it. Here is the title track "Invisible Girl" and it sounds reaaaaaal slick. Enjoy. IG comes out next month from In The Red.
The Vivian Girls are a band I've been digging on since their first 7 inch, but I missed the boat on their full length on it's first edition so I refused to listen to anything from it until it sees wide release next month from In the Red. However, seeing that they had a new video out for "Tell the World", I couldn't resist watching it and now it's constantly on repeat. The video itself is a total blast, a fine visual to accompany the wonderfully catchy song, filled with detached steering wheels and dancing friends (bears, monsters, hipsters) that is worthy of your eyes. So yes, I am very excited for self-titled to come out. October can't get here soon enough!
