Tamaryn's last album The Waves is still a huge favorite of mine, so it's safe to say any new music is highly anticipated. One of the big regrets of mine while the blog was in a clusterfuck at the end of 2010 was that I missed the opportunity to write something about Tamaryn's great LP "The Waves". It was really good and on heavy rotation for awhile, and "Love Fade" is just the perfect song. It evokes emotions without being emotional, and jangles through space while you ride a rocket to the goddamn moon. So while this song may be old news to everyone by now, it's worth taking a step back and revisiting it time and time again. Or forever, like I plan on doing.
