Seeing as the live documentation of Neil Young's ill-fated "International Harvesters" phase got shelved by Geffen, he's finally released the live documentation that shows who fucked that one up big time. "Grey Riders", the closing track on the set rips, and there's really no other way of describing it. The sound mix is phenomenal, allowing the distorted guitars to kick, the pedal steel to bridge and the synth-strings to be used most tastefully. If I had a car I would blast this one all day long. Enjoy.

The first time I ever really got into this T. Rex jam was driving home pretty stoned a few months back and my iPod really thought I would dig hearing this. It was right. So we high fived, got more stoned and popped this mother fucker on repeat. All T. Rex is god for the most part, but this one can be the greatest when the galaxy allows it.

I finally caught a ticket to the Neil Young Archives Vol. 1 (1963-1972) train and I suggest you get on board. Pack your honey slides and dive in to 8 cds or 9 dvds/blu-ray featuring some previously released tracks that sound better than ever before and a ton of new-to-you dizzy gems that invite constant listens. There's the Squires, Buffalo Springfield, CSNY and, yes, Crazy Horse too. Here are 3 choice nuggets, all hits. I hope to not wait as long for the next installment, but in the meantime let's all get as ripped as Neil is in the above photo. Fuck yeah!
